Trash to Treasure Creative Reuse Center is about the impact of the “stuff” of our lives. There, they teach people that reduce, reuse and recycle are a critical part of living a "green" lifestyle and reducing carbon footprints and climate change. They also see a relationship at the interface of Environment, Art, and Education. They believe that fostering imagination through play, arts and music is the key to true education, discovery and self-esteem building. Styleta is a nonprofit network of college students who collect donations of designer fashion to sell online in order to raise funding for women's initiatives. They utilize fashion and e-commerce as a new and innovative method of obtaining financial capital for charities. Soil Born Farm is a sustainable urban farm in Sacramento, CA. Their mission is "to empower youth and adults to discover and participate in a local food system that encourages healthy living, nurtures the environment and grows a sustainable community."
